Wednesday, January 21: Happy New Year! What better new year's resolution than to get more involved with the PTA? 😃
Join the PTA if you haven't already and join us for our General PTA Meeting on Wednesday, January 21 at 7 pm in the McKinley Library or via Zoom. 

 

📣 Guest speakers include:

  • Burlingame Parks & Rec to share centralized information on how parents can best access their resources for after-school programs, summer camps and learning options, and more! 
  • BIS Principal Greg Land with an overview on the 6th grade program. We encourage 5th grade families to attend! 

The agenda will also include Board reports and a hands-on community support at the end.  We can't wait to see you! 

 

Miércoles 21 de enero: ¡Feliz Año Nuevo! ¿Qué mejor propósito de Año Nuevo que involucrarse más con la Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTA)? 😃

Únase a la PTA si aún no lo ha hecho y acompáñenos en nuestra reunión general el miércoles 21 de enero a las 7 pm en la biblioteca de la escuela McKinley o a través de Zoom.

 

📣 Nuestros oradores invitados incluyen:

  • Representantes del Departamento de Parques y Recreación de Burlingame quienes compartirán información centralizada sobre cómo los padres pueden acceder a sus recursos para programas extracurriculares, campamentos de verano, opciones de aprendizaje y mucho más.
  • El director de BIS, Greg Land presentará un resumen del programa de sexto grado. ¡Animamos a las familias de quinto grado a asistir!

 

La agenda también incluirá informes de la junta directiva y una actividad práctica de apoyo comunitario al final. ¡Esperamos verlos!

  • The whole family is invited to join in the Burlingame Intermediate School gymnasium for live music, food and dancing.
  • For planning purposes, please fill out this Event RSVP form. Parent supervision is required during the entire event. Please also sign up for Volunteer Shifts and Food Donations. 
  • 5:30 - 6:30 pm: Food trucks and live music performances featuring:
  • 6:30 - 8:30 pm: Dancing and Dessert
