McKinley's Annual Giving Tree Now Open - Until 12/17

This Holiday Season, we invite you to give back by supporting the MCKINLEY GIVING TREE program. The Giving Tree is a special outreach effort where we provide holiday support to McKinley families in need. Our goal is to create thoughtful holiday gift baskets based on each family’s wish list so we can deliver a little joy before Winter Break.

As you’re out shopping this weekend, please take a moment to think about the Giving Tree and consider picking up an item or two that could help brighten a family’s holiday. Every small act of kindness truly makes a difference.

🍭Staff Appreciation Luncheon on 12/17! Volunteers and Donations Needed! 🍭

This holiday season will be extra sweet for our wonderful Teachers and Staff! The PTA is excited to host a Winter Candyland Staff Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, as a cheerful send-off to the holiday break.

We will need the help of our elves (cleared volunteers) and food donations from our generous Bulldog community to help sprinkle our teachers and staff with gratitude and sugary-sweet appreciation! Please sign up here.

PJ and Hot Cocoa Day  Día de pijama y chocolate caliente 

Friday December 19: In the spirit of Winter and celebrating the last day before break we will have hot cocoa during morning recess. Wear your coziest PJs and the PTA will provide hot cocoa to all the students and staff. Please sign up here to volunteer. MUST BE A CLEARED VOLUNTEER!

REMINDER: This is an early dismissal day at 1:30 pm.

Join the PTA Nominating Committee! Make a Big Impact with a Small Time Commitment

We’re looking for a few parent volunteers to serve on this year’s PTA Nominating Committee! This short-term role helps identify and recruit next year’s PTA Board members and committee chairs. It’s a light commitment (2 - 3 evening Zoom meetings) and an easy way to make a meaningful impact on our school community.

¡Buscamos voluntarios entre los padres para formar parte del Comité de Nominaciones de la PTA de este año! Esta función temporal ayuda a identificar y reclutar a los miembros de la Junta Directiva y a los presidentes de los comités de la PTA para el próximo año. Requiere poco tiempo (de 2 a 3 reuniones virtuales por la noche a través de Zoom) y es una manera sencilla de contribuir significativamente a nuestra comunidad escolar.
