It’s that time of the year when our PTA recognizes outstanding contributions made by our school community to the students of McKinley Elementary School. The contributions may be the result of service in a variety of roles: teacher, parent, volunteer, PTA, school staff, etc. Please take a moment to reflect on those who have helped to make McKinley Elementary School a better place for your children by going “above and beyond”, and especially those who have done so over multiple years. Then nominate that person for an Honorary Service Award.

A committee will receive all nominations and select this year's PTA Honorary Service Award recipients. The recipients will receive their awards at our annual Founder's Day Event in May. Nominations are quick and easy to submit, and they give us the opportunity to celebrate those who give so generously to our school.

Deadline for nominations is Friday, April 10, 2025 at 5:00pm.

Please provide specifics in your nomination as it helps the selection committee. Feel free to nominate more than one individual, but use a separate form for each nominee. 

Ha llegado la época del año cuando nuestro PTA reconoce las contribuciones sobresalientes hechas por miembros de nuestra comunidad escolar a los estudiantes de la Escuela Primaria McKinley. Las contribuciones pueden ser el resultado del servicio en una variedad de roles: maestro, padre; voluntario, trabajo de PTA, personal escolar, etc. Por favor tómese un momento para reflexionar sobre aquellos que han ayudado a hacer de la Escuela Primaria McKinley un mejor lugar para sus hijos al ir “más allá” de sus descripciones de trabajo, y especialmente aquellos que han contribuido a la comunidad de McKinley durante varios años. Luego, nomínelos para un Premio de Servicio Honorario.

Un comité recibirá todas las nominaciones y seleccionará a los ganadores del Premio al Servicio Honorario del PTA de este año. Los ganadores recibirán sus premios en nuestro almuerzo anual del Día del Fundador en mayo. Las nominaciones son rápidas y fáciles de completar, y nos brindan la oportunidad de reconocer y celebrar a quienes aportan tanto a nuestra escuela.

La fecha límite para las nominaciones es el viernes 10 de abril de 2026 a las 5:00 p.m.

🔬✨ McKinley Science Fair /Feria de Ciencias de McKinley ✨🔬

All 4th and 5th grade students are invited to participate in this year's McKinley Science Fair! Students may work individually or in teams of two or three. Each student or group will receive a display board to showcase their project. Parents and teachers will be on hand to ask questions and cheer on our young scientists.

¡Todos los estudiantes de 4.º y 5.º grado están invitados a participar en la Feria de Ciencias McKinley de este año! Pueden trabajar individualmente o en equipos de dos o tres. Cada estudiante o grupo recibirá un tablero para exhibir su proyecto. Padres y maestros estarán disponibles para hacer preguntas y animar a nuestros jóvenes científicos.
