Encourage your students to use the rainy days and NO SCHOOL DAY for students on Friday, March 15 to create original artwork for McKinley’s Yearbook Cover Contest. Follow all of the instructions below. As an added bonus, learn to draw Max the Bulldog by watching this instructional video.

2023-2024 Yearbook Cover Contest

Enter your art for a chance to be on this year's cover!


THEME: Bulldog Eras

Artwork should reflect your interpretation of the theme “Bulldog Eras” and should include Max the Bulldog in some way. 

 

CONTEST ENTRY DETAILS:

  • 8½ in. x. 11 in., portrait (vertical) orientation

  • Mix your medium. Use crayons, watercolors, markers, pastels, etc. 

  • NO GLITTER please! 


To qualify, original artwork must clearly include the following phrases: 

  • McKinley Elementary School

  • 2023-2024

 

On the back of each submission, include the student’s:

  • First and last name

  • Teacher name

  • Grade

 

DUE DATE: Submit your entry no later than Friday, March 15.
