2023-2024 PTA Reflections Competition / Concurso de reflexiones de la PTA 

 

A big thank you to the families who encouraged and supported their creative students with submissions in the PTA Reflections Art Program. All students who received an Award of Excellence will advance to the District 17th level of competition. Congratulations and good luck! Theme:  "I am Hopeful Because...”

Due Sunday, November 19, 2023, by 11:00 pm

 

Does your student enjoy art, music and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films and taking photos? Please encourage your children to have fun unleashing their inner artist with the PTA Reflections competition! This year’s theme "I am Hopeful Because...” calls for their own unique interpretation through the arts.  

 

Judging is based primarily on students' interpretation of the theme. In other words, it is more about self-expression than artistic skillfulness.

 

Help your student submit their creations via the online form linked here. Please note that you must do this from a non-Burlingame School account, since it will be going outside of our closed email network. Using a parent's gmail account is perfect! Our deadline is November 19th at 11:00 pm.

¿Su estudiante disfruta del arte, la música y la danza o tiene interés en escribir, producir películas y sacar fotografías? ¡Anima a tus hijos a divertirse liberando el artista que llevan dentro con la competencia Reflexiones de la PTA! El tema de este año "Tengo esperanza porque..." exige su propia interpretación única a través de las artes.

 

La evaluación se basa principalmente en la interpretación del tema por parte de los estudiantes. En otras palabras, se trata más de autoexpresión que de habilidad artística.

 

Ayude a su estudiante a enviar sus creaciones a través del formulario en línea vinculado aquí. Tenga en cuenta que debe hacer esto desde una cuenta que no sea de Burlingame School, ya que irá fuera de nuestra red cerrada de correo electrónico. ¡Usar la cuenta de Gmail de tus padres es perfecto! Nuestra fecha límite es el 19 de noviembre a las 11:00 pm.
